I could feel his peril as well as yours. I could also feel the magnitude of the power of the Lord to protect his own. It made me think that I need to incorporate more real stores into my journal and teaching my children rather than just sharing my ideas. It helped me realize how Heaven’s window is always open for me, a faithful daughter of God. It also made me think that I need to ask for priesthood blessings more often. The meek priesthood holders in our life are counseled not to solicit blessings so as not to force the issue, but I am grateful that my priesthood holders have sometimes reminded me that this is an option. Then it has been left up to my desire and my faith to claim the blessings the Lord has in store for me by asking for it. The Lord has always required us to ask before he can bless us, even in prayer. I have always felt entitled to the rites and privileges of the priesthood as they exist to bless us while we are away from our Father in Heaven. First as a daughter, and then a wife, and even a mother. These are roles of privilege and responsibility.Emily Anderegghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07389398362505031231noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2605541722360048108.post-19222149918590803142014-06-27T15:45:06.341-07:002014-06-27T15:45:06.341-07:00This comment has been removed by the author.Emily Anderegghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07389398362505031231noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2605541722360048108.post-86958347434627667572014-06-24T11:09:49.239-07:002014-06-24T11:09:49.239-07:00Very powerful and I feel exactly the same, but you...Very powerful and I feel exactly the same, but you have a gift of expression the I so appreciate.

Tobi
Scott and Tobihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02106317897574009886noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2605541722360048108.post-47477703066936752572014-06-23T21:25:52.116-07:002014-06-23T21:25:52.116-07:00Totally agree Angie!!! They can never experience the power of bringing life into this world as we do and with that power comes the God given right to call on God's name to bless our posterity. The Priesthood is the blessing that God has given to men to act for Him and men need that just as much as we need the privilege of being God's partner in the creative process. linda perryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15554316945969882706noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2605541722360048108.post-57749391850496282152014-06-23T21:02:28.716-07:002014-06-23T21:02:28.716-07:00I feel the same!
